I have a dreamwidth! I might repost a bunch of backdated oldies-but-goodies from my tumblr as a form of backup. I might post original content here (if I do, it'll probably be crossposted to tumblr).

PLEASE use Tumblr's backup feature -- it takes a few days to run, but the output is very readable, and complete.

Click the Account button in the upper right hand of the dashboard
Press Settings
Choose the blog account you want to save
Click the Export icon at the bottom of the new screen
Wait while it processes
Once done, a Download backup button will appear
Download the ZIP file to your device

Note that it may take literally days depending on size, and it will email you when it's ready.
